Technology Leader

We currently have an opening for a Technology Leader.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the organization.
  • Serves and participates with other members of the strategic committee and management in developing and executing strategic plans to optimize the use of information technology in support of the organization's business objectives.
  • Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
  • Responsible for the management of information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, and office automation.
  • Responsible for the management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, data administration, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicates IS/IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization, including management groups and professional staff.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field required; master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing departments dealing with information systems; a minimum of 5 years experience in systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, testing, installation and operations; a minimum of 3 years of experience in IS/IT planning to support strategic business goals; experience should include substantial exposure to development of systems running on multiple hardware platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical language into layman terms and apply complex technologies to key business strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to be a team player that motivates and educates other team members.
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities.
  • Budget preparation and monitoring.
